Math SATs looking a little low. It’s far better to have all 3 sections in the high 600’s-high 700’s range than to have them so scattered. However, Brown is a very liberal, book-loving school and might let the math score slide. Hard to say.

For AP tests, only 5’s and 4’s matter. Anything 3 or less is worthless and will be frowned upon by the AdComs and will definitely not be offered credit by the university. If there were any scores 3 or less, I would not even mention it, seeing as how AP test scores are not required.

Also, the honor societies are nice and all, but there’s not nearly enough information there. Is there a hook? Special leadership positions? Any recognition?

Honestly, there’s not a yes/no answer to your question. Good luck.

@jerseygirl91, unfortunately we didn’t find out about CC until after all my son’s application was submitted. He submitted all this AP scores, there were a 3’s and 2’s in there, but mostly 4’s and 5’s - do you think that’s going to hurt him?
