<p>So I was recently accepted my offer of admission to UC Santa Cruz. The real problem is that I said I was taking Physics for both semesters but the class was cancelled. Is there a chance that the university will rescind my acceptance? I emailed them explaining the situation and hopefully this is isn't an issue.</p>

<p>absolutely not. The class being cancelled was completely out of your control. If your school gave you the option of joining another class in its place then you should take that opportunity, but otherwise that cannot be held against you.</p>
