Boston University has been my first choice is definitely my first choice school and I really want to apply early decision, but I just got my SAT score back and it’s still not as high as it needs to be. Should I still apply early (which will probably help my chances of acceptance) and hope for a miracle or wait and take the SAT’s again? Any feedback is helpful, thanks!

-Certificate of Selection for Award – “National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists Award of Excellence”
OTHER
-Female and Chinese (if you haven’t guessed)
-My father is a professor at the university
-My brother just graduated from BU - class of 2015
Surprised you don’t get automatic admission with your father as a professor. My mom’s also a professor, but the university is open admission. 
I’d say you have decent odds. I would definitely try to bump up that SAT score just a bit, although your score isn’t bad.
A lot of students don’t get better scores after retaking tests because they get so nervous about making sure they do better that it actually hurts their score. (This happened to me.) Applying later will mean that colleges look at your senior year grades, which you should probably take into consideration.
Because BU is so competive and test scores are pretty important, I would personally wait. Your odds of getting in shouldn’t change THAT much. But more importantly, go with your gut. Neither is a bad idea.
EDIT: One more thing - My SAT superscore (Which I’m pretty sure BU does) would be 2040
I wouldn’t wait, as you can take the SAT in October (for free, if you took the June test) and still have it get to BU in time for ED. Overall your application looks good, try to get another leadership position next year if you can.

ANOTHER EDIT: I am taking another sat subject test in October and so I can’t take the regular sat again if I want to apply for early decision
