In addition to Grinnell, I'm also applying to Malboro, McDaniel, Clark U, Earlham, Beloit, and Allegheny.
I might also apply to Juniata, Kalamazoo, Hampshire, or Reed.

Feel free to recommend any other colleges I should look at.

I don’t usually like to give chances, but I think yours are good at all of these schools and I think you have a great list. Your uw GPA is a bit low, but I’d say it is totally offset by the rigor of your courses and your test scores. I’m guessing you’ll get some good merit $$ offers.

I agree with M’s Mom–as always. Grinnell, I think is a little reachy because of GPA, but I still think the rigor of your curriculum and the rest of your total picture may offset this. Reed might also be in the reachy category and Oberlin would be too. Macalester might be another thought, but you already have so many great options in mind.

Thanks to everyone for the input. I think I have a pretty good chance at Grinnell, so I’ll apply there anyway.

The list of colleges I am applying drastically changed since I first posted. I’m still applying to are Grinnell, Reed, and Earlham (and maybe Oberlin, because of their music conservatory), but there are others now.

Reed chances may be harder to gauge since SAT/ACT+GPA+rank together count for only 20% of admission criteria. Rising GPA is good; your cum GPA is a tad low, but your SAT is high, so I’d guess Reed is a match for this 20% of weighting. The rest is hard to tell.
