Chance: UCs (Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, UC Davis & UC Irvine)

I've always been skeptical of these chance threads. But as I'll be applying to colleges soon, curiosity got the better of me.

Chance me for Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, David, & Irvine
Major: Letters of Science (unimpacted majors)

UCGPA: 3.95uw/4.35W
AP/UC-Honors: 10 total
SAT: 2110 (M770/W690/CR650)
ACT: Will take in September
Subject Tests: Will take 2 in October

Essays & ECs: Shows great leadership, tenacity, and initiative. One about overcoming hardship, what I learned from it, and how I helped others with what I learned.

My Weaknesses: Bad pre-sophomore grades. (some Cs and Bs). I'm Asian too, if that means anything lol

UCI: low match
UCD: low match/match
UCSD: match
UCLA: high match
UCB: high match/low reach

Thank you. Would a low match be close to a safety? (I’ve never completely understood these chance terms, even though I’ve asked around)

UCI: low amtch
UCD: low match
UCSD: match
UCLA: high match
UCB: high match
you should be in at UCI and UCD, but I would apply to UCSC or some other easy to get into school just in case

A low match is close to a safety.

Bump. Anyone?
