Ok so I only just finished sophomore year at Phillips Exeter Academy, maintaining about a B+ average throughout the year. For those of you who do not know it is a very academically challenging school. Since I just finished sophomore year though, I don't have any test scores yet.

EC's: (eek, dont have many!)
-three sport athlete (this takes up my time mostly) in field hockey, basketball, lacrosse
-play trombone since 5th grade but just for fun, nothing serious, no awards
-on the yearbook board

This summer I recently started shadowing a neurologist at a local hospital (Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, related kind of to Dartmouth College). I basically just sit in on appointments with his patients, read some material he gives me and we review it the next day. I hope as this progresses to somehow start my own research...

I really enjoy field hockey and basketball and I currently start on both varsity teams and plan to really put a lot of time and effort into my junior and senior seasons. Would there be any way to be recruited for either of these? Would shadowing the doctor look good on my application?

I would overall like to major in Neuroscience or Biochemistry.
