Background: Mixed student. Half Korean, Half American, but lived in Singapore until age 11 when I moved to Madison, WI.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.80 UW (school doesn't weight)
SAT I: 720 CR, 700 Math, 800 Writing. 2220 Combined</p>

<p>You’ve got a solid chance; no more, no less.
There are lots of really good applicants, and you’re just one of them. Students like you have a better shot at Wash U ED than RD.
Your test scores are solid, but hardly among the strongest in the applicant pool.
I like the combination of leadership in diverse ECs - i.e., captain of cross country and EIC of independent newspaper.
What would your GPA be if you took out any grades in arts or PE classes (e.g., no Ceramics & Sculpture)?</p>

My overall GPA without any art or gym classes would be closer to 3.7
I was actually hoping to have a minor in art. I submitted the Wash U arts supplement along with my application. I don’t know if this helps my chances at all or not.</p>
