Chance?

I'm a junior male from Tennessee. I have been telling my parents I want to go to Sewanee for awhile, but my father (spent 2 years at Vandy but transferred to UT-Knoxville) wants me to take another look at Vanderbilt. I'm just worried about whether or not I could get in, seeing as my GPA isn't quite as hot as it could/should be.

Academics:
-GPA: 3.6 weighted (I realize this is pathetic, freshman/sophomore years were a waste)
-Class rank: My school doesn't rank; I would say top 20 of my class of ~100
-Curriculum: 4 years French/English/Math/Lab Science/Social Studies; Bible is a required elective every year and I've had other electives every year
2 APs junior year, planning to take 3 APs next year (or 4 if Government/Econ is considered 2)(my school is limited academically, I take honors and "advanced" when available)

Scores:
-No ACT or SAT yet; I scored a 214 on the PSAT (70CR/74M/70W)(highest in my school, right on the line for NMSF in Tennessee so we'll see next September)

Extracurricular/other:
-varsity swimming, 9th-11th
-club swimming for a year (very time-consuming)
-varsity Scholars' Bowl team, 10th-11th
-Christian Literature Club (treasurer)
-Chem Club
-Chess Club
-National Honor Society
-15 hours of service/year (required by school)
-annual mission trip to French Canada (I lead worship and play with little kids)
-nationally ranked in the French Grand Concours, 10th grade
-part of Duke's Talent Identification Program in 7th grade, scored a 1050 on the SAT (520 math/530 verbal)

Intended major: Economics with an English minor (The plan is to go on to law school)

Also, I'm a decent writer and my essays will hopefully reflect that, ha.

Thanks.

blah idk lol, its tough, do well on your standardized test of choice, id say its worth applying, the fee is worth it unless ur applying to like 6+ schools
