Chancellor's Essay Length

All three essays say no more than 500 words, but what is the minimum they're looking for? I'm not trying to do the bare minimum, but want to know the acceptable length so I don't feel like I need to write more just for the sake of length. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Don’t add on just for the sake of length, but do make sure you provide good detail and insights in your answers!

If you have questions about the application process, Honors College staff member Chris Chirdon is the best person to speak to about the Chancellor’s Scholarship and he will be happy to help you: chirdon@pitt.edu.

Good luck!

Thank you! I actually submitted my essays on Saturday. All of them were between 400-500 words and I feel like I said everything I needed to say without forcing anything!

Wonderful. Best of luck!
