CHANCES--A Unique-ISH situation----!!!

I applied to University of British Columbia (UBC) as a transfer third year into faculty of science

In High school---

3.92GPA UW
12 APs---passed all (six 5s, three 4's, three 3's)
2260 SAT with perfect Math

But at my University (a top state school in the US)

I received a 3.7GPA first year (took hard classes)

But only 3.15GPA (took relatively easier classes than first year)

Reason for drop off was mostly anxiety disorder/panic attacks/OCD which I was diagnosed with and treated for with medication

Now I'm fine...but for personal reasons I cant go back to my University

Cum GPA at UNIVERSITY IS 3.43

Do I have a good chance at UBC Faculty of Science (applied for third year)-- they say that they only make decision based on most recent year...my **** one...but I sent all my old high school stuff before I found that out...

Tell me what you think

Bump--------

Bump-----------------

Pasadena,
First, you need to stop bumping your posts every few minutes (the other one too).

Second, because your situation is so unique (there are relatively few transfers to UBC on this board), you may not get very many responses.

where do you suggest I post?

Is there a Canadian equivalent to CC?? I'm not saying that you're on the "wrong" board, only that since your situation is so unique, you may not get many responses (and the ones you get will not be based on much past experience).

I'd take this question directly to UBC. Admissions at the Canadian schools is formulaic and I think they'll be straight forward in helping you assess your chances.
