Hey everyone. I am going to apply. What is my percentage of admittance if anyone can make a knowledgable guess. I also am wondering about applying for financial aid, do you apply before the aid before you apply for the university, or after? And when you apply, can you apply for many unversities at the same time, or do you have to do each seperately? thanks

Hate to get your hopes up, but your ot yale or Ivy league material, my brother got into Harvard despite a slighlty lower SAT score thn urs, had great recs, and an outstannding essay in 2 clubs really dedicated his time. you are in over 8 clubs tht is a major turn down to the university u just try to buid up ur resume oromia, try applying to a state university or a community college ur nt ivy league material

why are people being so harsh to you? you're obviously very smart looking at your rank, gpa, and AP test scores. no doubt you could do harvard level work. your SAT scores are below average for harvard but obviously not low enough for an auto-reject. i'd bet that you'd make it past the first two cuts and maybe even the third if you wrote some good essays that your representative could take to the table. i would say you have about an average shot for a harvard applicant - maybe slightly higher (10-20%). prepare for the worst but hope for the best. nothing you can do now.

I agree with taken89. Some of this criticism seems a little unfounded...anyway I'd say ur not an outirght reject, but your chances seem average...if you've got the right recs and essays you could push your chances up considerably.

just remember there are only 3 real categories of URM - I've seen some posts where the OP specified their race and then said they were URM, and they really werent. Needs to be black, Hispanic or native american to make any difference to outcomes.

You should follow your heart and apply. The worst they could say is no. But the best they could say is yes! However, couch your chances in reality. In these days, there is no guarantee for anyone with any scores. So, apply to a range including schools that seem to be safer. Keep your options open.
