Chances and Questions for Summer 2013 admitted applicants!

<p>Hi everyone!
I feel like I'm worrying too much, it's stressing me out a lot but it would be nice if you guys could chance me and a friend of mine!
For me..
UCF GPA: 3.25
SAT: 1220/1600 1800/2400
By the end of the year, I'll have 7 AP classes done and finished (currently I have 4)
I'm in my school's band (came in my freshman year with no music experience), I've had a position as section leader in our competing drumline for the last three years
I've been in yearbook as well from sophomore year - now and I've held an editor's position for last year and this year as well.
During the summer, I volunteer at a non-profit drug rehabilitation center for young males.
My gpa isn't as high as it could be, mostly because I killed myself with AP Chem last year :-( worst decision for myself ever considering I applied for Marketing now.)
I applied for summer 2013!</p>

<p>For my friend:
UCF GPA: 3.05
SAT: 1050/1600 1600/2400
He's going to have 4 APs at the end of this year, as well as two DE classes.
He's been his band for the last seven years, he also held position as drum captain in drumline.
He volunteered at a special populations camp, as well as the special Olympics in 2010 (I think)
Also applying for summer 2013</p>

<p>Summer 2013 applicants that already know they got in, I'm just wondering when you applied, when you found out, and what are your stats?</p>

<p>I've always been one to worry too much about things like this, I've been searching this website along with cappex and ***** since I was a sophomore and now that the time has actually arrived for me to apply I'm freaking out!</p>

<p>By the way, I submitted monday and he did yesterday!</p>

<p>I think you are 100% accepted for summer and I would give your friend a 85% chance , he might need to bring up his SAT scores but that’s about it</p>

<p>And I applied for summer with a 3.4 GPA 1130/1600 and 1740/2400 and will take the October SAT to hopefully improve my scores so I have a chance for summer as well, Good Luck!</p>

<p>From looking at the posts from last year of the students admitted, I think you both have a good shot. Taking AP courses helps!</p>

<p>@Salaffle Thank you for the luck, I’ll need it, and yeah I took the ACT and manged to get a 23 but I think I have a better shot getting a higher SAT score,</p>
