<p>EC since high school: Worked on 2 political campaigns, founder of political blog turned website (make revenue via ads), interned at the bar association of Baltimore City, work part-time, taught private guitar lessons, regular SPCA volunteering, Phi Theta Kappa member.</p>
<p>Hooks: Hispanic-Puerto Rican, first-generation college student, male(?)</p>
<p>I think your competitive for admission, but I can’t say for sure because it really just depends on how strong the applicant pool is for this Spring. However, your high school GPA is on the low side, and they DO look at that. Did you take the ACT or SAT? Also, have you had any extra-curriculars in college? You’ll also want to make sure your essays and recommendations are above average.</p>
<p>We like transfers. Their College gpa is fine. Emory will take on solid transfers to receive more revenue and usually appreciate what Emory offers (especially when they come from a community college or a less well-resourced state institution) more than many incoming freshmen. They should have a decent chance.</p>
