Chances at BC,BU,SBU,Baruch

<p>SAT : 690 CR 640M ( Definately could've done alot better) , 450W +\, first time taking it
GPA: 90 UW, 95 Weighted</p>

<p>Took AP World Last year, APUSH and Ap Spanish this year. Honors English. College Accounting.
Prob going to take AP Bio, AP Econ, AP Stats ( maybe ) next year</p>

<p>Interned for 300 Hours at Shipping company in Bangkok.
Key Club
Red Cross Club
Varsity Winter Track and Spring Track.</p>

<p>First time taking SAT. Felt I could have at least got a 700M + ( knew everything, but probably dumb mistakes ). Does writing matter much? I did not prepare for writing at all but did not expect such a low grade. Will definately prepare more. What are my chances for these colleges?</p>

<p>you would have a good chance if your writing was higher. yes, it does matter even if most colleges use only CR+M.</p>

<p>You’ll get in. You’re talking about CUNYs right? They aren’t that picky. Your math and reading scores are great. Writing doesn’t matter much :slight_smile: keep up the good work!</p>

<p>BC – High match. It’s a good choice, and you’re right in the middle of the applicant pool (meaning, you are in their range) so it’s hit -or- miss. Write stellar essays, and your ECs look good. Good chance. </p>

<p>BU – Yes. You will get in, but probably only a small scholarship, if any. </p>

<p>SBU – Yes, you’re in.</p>

<p>The only one that is close is BC, I would say you have about a 60% right now getting in. the others you should feel very confident with. good luck! you should however take the sat again to try to improve your chance for bc
