I know housing information should be getting released within the next week or two, but I've been getting a little anxious. I'm an engineering major with all my classes on Busch and that's where I really want to live. I am a transfer student and I'm aware transfers are the lowest priority and there is a high demand for Busch which is why I'm worried I might not be where I want.

I applied for housing back in February. Anyone have any idea what kind of chances I have at Busch?

I’m not sure how the housing process is for transfers, but how close to the release date of the application did you apply for housing? Also, were you able to request the campus/building of your choice?

I could only request campus and the type of housing (suite, apartment, etc.). I’m not sure when the application was released, but I believe transfers didn’t begin receiving admission decisions until February which was when I was accepted and I applied right after that. I know first year students who applied around April for housing and they got placed on Busch, but obviously it’s different for transfers.

At orientation the dean said that engineering students recieve priority for Busch, but he also said it’s not guarunteed since it fills up fast. I was just hoping someone would know from previous years because it’s usually roughly the same.
