I think AP + SAT require a different kind of intelligence than olympiads. As I indicated earlier I have participated in olympiads but didn’t get far (not for lack of trying), while I found most of my AP classes (and all of the SATs) really easy. As for Robotics, I am a member since freshman year.

Thanks. I am applying to MIT too.

Haha. I’m just worried since I have no research/not great olympiad stuff/other unique stuff, in other words, no real “hook” besides straight academics.

I forgot to mention that I’m an NMSF (240 PSAT); applying for Finalist and I think almost everyone who applies gets it?

Well… I mean, I don’t believe that in the admissions office they seem to check if this kid did a research paper of something, your going to that school to learn to do that.

What I do definitively see is that they’ll say that your really advanced in math and the idea and concept that your in the math Olympiads says something.

Ec: Meh.

Though when I saw this I went. :O. So I believe your going to do great.

A’s and A-'s do not make a difference… I think people are underplaying your accomplishments… you’ll honestly have no problem

Relax. You’re in!

Its been two years, but where did you end up getting into?
