Thanks!!

No worries, you have a very good chance, because of your isef awards and research experience.

Thought it’d be a good time to remember the wise words of Michael Woods…

[For anyone wanting to know their ‘chances’ of getting into Caltech](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/california-institute-technology/442418-anyone-wanting-know-their-chances-getting-into-caltech.html</a>)

EDIT: wrong thread :)

You look like a really interesting applicant, but you should try to add a near-perfect science SAT II to the mix (and/or a few 5s in AP/IB science/math tests).
Good luck!

Your senior IB schedule is INSANE. If you don’t get into Caltech then it will be because of your character that they don’t like, not because of your academics.

just wondering how you could get an Excellence in Physics (2007, 2008) and get only a 3 for AP Physics and 680 for SAT II physics?

Your stats produce 18.35% chance. Good luck!

There’s a water polo team in the Miami school district for men? When did that begin?

Also, you need to explain your 3 in Phys B, or at least show that was a fluke somehow. It throws up a lot of cautionary red flags. Your independent research is a big plus though.

Yeah several schools in the Ft. Lauderdale area have teams.

Well to be honest, I swamped myself with 10 exams all in close proximity of one another…not the smartest thing to do…couple that with football practice
