Uh, I don’t know when your summer break is. If it’s during our summer break, there won’t be a ton of people but there will be definitely SOME students you can talk to.

I tried looking at the Caltech calendar and I think your summer break is around
May 20-ish? My summer is from around may 18-august 7th. So the school will probably be a little empty when I go I guess, but just seeing the campus, getting a feel of the atmosphere, and stalking the few students there would really help right?

Spring Term doesn’t end until June 12 or so. May 20 is right in the middle of term. There’ll almost certainly be people there.

Assume that X is the random variable for your chance of being acceptance. Then X will either follow the normal, binomial, or Poisson distribution models.

Let, for instance, the mean be 17%, and standard deviation 17%. Then if by normal distribution, you have a 32% chance of not getting admitted 100%.

Now imagine, binomial distribution being applied. If 10C3 X(17%-X)to the power of 10. Then you chance of getting admitted is, unfortunately 17%.

lmao, some good old caltech humor

honestly, i dunno much about caltech but since caltech is pretty much as hard to get in as MIT, ill chance u for MIT, which is basically same as chancing for Caltech.
i like ur EC’s and scores. and it seems like u will score high in subject tests as well since u took many AP’s. U have most rigorous courseload. so u r set. but as u know, MIT and caltech are pretty much unpredictable. however, I do believe u have a decent shot so good luck.

MIT and Caltech, despite being similar in some regards, have very different admissions procedures.

if you get at least a 770 on ur Math level 2 and a high 700 score on your chemistry and keep taking hard classes u should be fine

haha very funny alleri0n
