Chances at Colgate University?

<p>I attend a rigorous private school, and I have low SAT scores. Trust me I am aware. </p>

<p>GPA: 90</p>

<p>My school has two tracts, and AP classes are only offered to those in Honors tract in the underclassmen years.
Senior Year: AP Gov, AP English, College Physics
Soph/Junior: placed in Honors English course</p>

<p>I will be submitting a supplemental video of my musical talent: classical and contemporary piano.
My essay reflected my artistic/creative writing style, I wrote about my love for the piano
I described how I came across Colgate one day as I was researching prominent attorneys in my supplement and how that inspired me because of my aspiration to become a lawyer. </p>

<p>I have gotten in touch with my admission counselors via email and introduced myself.
I have also included in my additional statement section that I am a firm believer that numbers do not reflect who I am not tell stories. I spoke about my earnest apprecation to actually learn and not spit back out information I've memeorized for a grade. I made it clear I put a heavy weight on becoming well rounded and learning to actually learn, not for a transcript grade.
This was crucial to me because I'm passionate about this point, and I think that was the best way for my voice to be heard in my essay. </p>
