i’d appreciate any feedback. :)

I think if you keep up your GPA, you stand a great chance at being admitted. You have fantastic activities, and seem like a very well-rounded student, that will benefit you for an ivy league. Don't worry about your school not being some fancy private school, as long as your taking AP and honor classes and most importantly doing well in them, then that's what matters the most. I would definitely apply if I were you. Do you know what you wish to study there? Each major may have different requirements, it would be good to know early. Good Luck!!!

hey thanks (: i have absolutely no idea what exactly i want to get into. that's my only problem. :/

^^That's not a problem. I completely switched out of my career goal during second semester of senior year in college. My older son is a sophomore in college, and he has no clue, although I think he will declare a major before the deadline. My younger son will be attending Columbia in the fall, and he is even more clueless. Enjoy the journey!

Good stuff so far!

And your activities are all mostly related. At the end of the day, your essay will make the difference. And don't worry about the cluelessness. I majored in neuroscience and now i'm a consultant. and now I have the strongest urge ever to be a marine biologist. Go figure

You seem like a very interesting applicant.

Naat.

So I'm going to say....denied.

You are a fairly unique applicant with strong academics and test scores. Keep it up and your chances will be pretty high.

thanks for all your feedback (:

It also matters whether you are applying to Columbia College or the School of Engineering. They have different admission standards and you have to apply to each school specifically. If you have no idea what exactly you are getting into then maybe Columbia College is a better idea.

You can see the profiles of the typical students that get into Columbia here: myCollegeSTAT - Columbia University

i wasn't considering the school of engineering, thanks for the website. (:

For the class of 2012, from the Columbia website:
