<p>Also, the summer before my junior year, I traveled to Pakistan's Kashmir region for a week and did earthquake relief work, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. In addition to providing assistance to the volunteer doctors there, I also wrote a 20-page research paper on the lack of breastfeeding in the region and its effects upon the children of the region. </p>

<p>i liked it all except for the SAT I score. hit 2250 or 33/34 ACT and you're set.</p>

<p>Though it's not a sure bet, my guess is you'll at least be waitlisted. That achievement in speech is very impressive (especially since you're hailing from CA - however, as a side note, MN kicks CA's a$$ any day ;) :D). If you boost your test scores, it seems very likely you'll be admitted.</p>
