Hi I was rejected EDI to Vassar and I think I am going to apply EDII to Hamilton

My raw stats are an 88% gpa (upward trend 82,92,93), a 29 on my ACTs and a 740 on my SATII US History...

Can anyone give me any insight into how heavily EC's are weighed, the interview, or even what hamilton is looking for in an applicant? Thanks!

Good GPA, but it depends on whether or not your course laod was rigorous. Hamilton does place an emphasis on EC’s since they like to know you did stuff outside of school. Try to emphasize any talents or passions you have, so my best bet would be an interview. Unlike most colleges, the interview is an important factor in admission for Hamilton, but fear not because when I had my interview it was more like a pleasant and interesting conversation. Hamilton is really trying to diversify the student body, so if you have any unique qualities, flaunt it so they’ll see you stand out.
