WILL CHANCE BACK THOSE WHO LEAVE LIN

First off, you shouldn’t even ask for chancing as a sophomore. Chance threads are unreliable and self-glorifying enough, the fact that you’re asking to be chanced as a sophomore is completely ridiculous and unnecessary.

And to be honest, you have a decent shot at getting in. Your GPA is alright, it really all depends on your SAT/SATII scores. And you could do a little bit more ECs. My concern is that I feel you aren’t strong enough of a student to study pre-med and psychology at Emory. Emory is a very competitive school, even considering its high rank. Regents are super easy, the fact that your average score for all of them thus far barely adds up to 90 isn’t a good sign at all. Disregarding the whole “chance” crap, you should instead re-evaluate which college is right for you.

I truly do believe that Emory is the right college for me. Not saying that I won’t change my mind in the next few years, however, as of now, my heart and mind is set on Emory. I am looking at other colleges as well and am not so naive as to not have back up plans. But I am the type of person to only make minor changes to things of this nature( a.k.a. college list; life goals.)
