Hello, I am just wondering. What are my chances to get into Georgia Tech Engineering, specifically Electrical Engineering? I am currently a high school senior out of state.

New SAT: 1200 (560 ERW, 640 Math)

Rank: 14/131

GPA: 3.92 UW, 4.16 W

8 AP Classes: AP Human Geo, AP World History, AP Chem, AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Calculus AB, AP US History, AP Spanish Language and Culture

Extracurriculars and Achievements:
-Play at least 10 hours a week of soccer competitively (USSDA Member) and travel constantly where I have gotten personal achievements such as being invited to state and national wide combines.

-Went to Samsung Mobile APP Academy

-Student of the Year (Junior Year)

  • Distinguished Honor Roll

-State Cup Champion (Soccer)

Etc.

If possible, please retake the SAT.
otherwise, your chances are good.

GT is difficult OOS, and your test scores are very low. However, if you can bring your score into the 1500 range, you have a very good chance. Are you male or female? Any hooks? You seem as though you are a very good soccer player. Have you been recruited by other D1 schools? I know GT does not have a soccer team, but there are a ton of very good schools with soccer teams that might help you be accepted.
