I applied for Early Decision. ACT 23 Unweighted GPA is about 3.39. But I significantly increased GPA every year of high school. I am in the top 25% for my class, and I participate in many extra-curricular activities including bands, choirs, and varsity tennis. I held leadership roles, and maintained a job working 25 hours per week. I applied as a music major, so they may hold my status until my audition. But based off credentials, dor you think I have a pretty good chance? Or should I plan on getting denied?

I’m a actually applying as a music major too. Your ACT is a little low, but if you do well in the audition you’ll be perfectly fine! Being in the top quarter is good and you have good ECs. Just in case I would have some other options. I’m not exactly sure what kind of music degree you’re interested in, but Belmont University in Nashville has some phenomenal music programs and isn’t super difficult to get in. Check it out and see if it could be good fit. Also, please chance me back! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1576421-what-my-chances-getting-into-usc-ucla-nyu.html
