chances at harvard EA

hi....i'm new here....i'm thinking of applying EA to harvard this year...i was wondering if anyone could tell me how my profile looks and any help with how to present the info would b really great.....

I know my SAT II scores are normal, nothing amazing. So are my ECs.... but overall, how do i look?....am i goin to b rejected right away? ior do i stand the slimmest of chances....... honest opinions appreciated

you have a 50% chance of being accepted
i think your hook is being the national debate champion

thanx...
i forgot to add my gpa 3.96(highest) on an unweighted 4.0 scale, my class load is the most demanding and my recs shoud b great....

I think that you have a pretty decent chance but you never know.

it could go either way. i'm not exactly sure what british A-levels are, but just to let you know competitive colleges are big on APs. so if a-levels are pretty much equivalent to aps, then it's worth a shot.

btw, didn't harvard just revoke the EA system? i think i read it in the news or something.

You can only try. But chances are low for almost everyone. It is almost like asking I am buying a lottery ticket, what are the chances of winning the jackpot? Who knows? Good luck.

if i had to bet money, i would put my money on him being accepted

Harvard's Early Action ends next year. This is the last year for the program.

w/o SAT results there is no way to judge probabilities

Irrelevant, but my parents are Bangladeshi and I was born in Canada and just joined the debate team at my school >_>

I THOUGHT IT WAS KIND OF COOL.
