<p>Hello i am a High school junior. I live in Pennsylvania. I have 4.2 g.p.a weighted and 3.92 unweighted. I am in honor american studies, AP Calculus 1, honors chemistry,honors french 4. My class rank is 62/450. First time i took Sat's i got 1830. 610 in critical reading,640 in math and 580 in writing. I am planning to get a higher score in June. I have very few extracurricular activities but i am able to speak,read and write five languages.</p>
<p>Any chances of getting accepted in Penn State Main, i am applying next year. My backup universities are Temple university and Rutgers university. Any chances of getting accepted in those universities?</p>

<p>Penn State main should be a “match” school for you and Temple should be “safety”</p>

<p>I would assume you are also “match” for Rutgers, but since you are instate for PA why would you want to pay higher tuition to go to Rutgers OOS?</p>
<p>Since you like city schools, have you considered Pitt?</p>
<p>i got in with a 3.3 GPA (uw) and a 1950 SAT. i had amazing recs and im an international student though, which probably raised my chances. my essay was freaking ace too. so it’s what you make of it. grades-wise, take the SAT a couple more times and you should be good to go. i also had loads of amazing ECs</p>
<p>I had a 3.7 gpa, 1820 SATS, and a lot of really good extra curriculars and volunteering. I was on the crew team, volunteer firefighter, etc. Also had interview with the school, that helps.</p>
