Yea I have two top 10 finishes in science competitions, and I won the calculus award junior year. I’ll probably talk about the research in my interviews and I’ll be spending my free period helping freshman and sophomores with math. I’ll also take the AMC in February, and I’ll see how that goes.

Well good luck, you have great scores and GPA! Gotta ace the essays and Recs. Please realize the HYPSM, duke, and other very high schools are a reach for anyone and everyone. That said, you have a fair chance at any of the schools here. No guarantees though.

And another thing, don’t take these people chancing you too seriously, it looks like some of them have no clue what they’re talking about.

Good luck! :)

Don’t put that Pokemon website on yours apps. Just don’t do it. 2000 members isn’t even much of an accomplishment. I run a blog that gets 60,000 visitors per week – you will be competing against people like me.

Don’t worry about your chances. At this point, focus on your essays, which for most applicants constitute the part of the application underlying the acceptance letter. Don’t rely on your numbers/awards to get you in when, at the end of the day, the essay is the only part of the application which is uniquely you and to which an admission officer will connect on a personal, human-to-human level. When you write your essays, focus not on getting in but rather on representing yourself authentically. Though this may sound counter-intuitive, I’ve found it to be absolutely true. Admission committees want to hear your voice discussing something about which you truly care. They seem to be good judges of authenticity. In addition, focus on developing and highlighting a “passion” for one or two things. Stanford in particular seems to like this.

You have a decent chance for Princeton SCEA~ But for top ivies there is always uncertainty… Keep working and I am sure u will end up in a good place…
