I applied on a whim the night before the RD deadline. I've come to realize that Princeton is my absolute top choice and this waiting is stressing me out. Can anybody tell me what kind of chances I have? I applied to their SEAS aerospace major. Thank you so much if you have any input, I know you're probably tired of looking at paper bag puffing hypochondriacs like myself.

If any background info helps - I'm a caucasian male from suburban Illinois from a middle-class family. I believe my interview went pretty well. I was finally able to coherently explain my plans of public service. Thanks for anyone's input!

Varsity golf would help (hoping varsity football's helping me)
Young democrats club should help
Students for Free Tibet could help, but they might be looking for results on that

Other than that, if we both got in, we'd share alot of classes. I aslo applied for an aerospace major (I can hear scaled composites calling me after i get my pilot's licence)

Well I got into Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown which is an incredible opportunity. I love the school. I just really do not want to give up on math and science. That is why Princeton would seem the better option considering I could pursue aerospace engineering as well as prepare myself for some kind of international relations major in grad school with a liberal arts major or minor at princeton.
I think your football will really help. A kid in several of my classes is one of the first people to be accepted at MIT from our school. All my academic stats outweighed his but he played Football, Wrestling, and Track which made him much more desirable. Anyway, thanks for replying and good luck!

I went to Downers Grove South incase that's what you were asking

nice record. i wouldn't count too much on the interview. i thought i had a great interview for another ivy and i didn't get in. so it's pretty much your record, because what you do now isn't as important as what you have been doing for the past four years, or more.

You're not going to be able to do MAE with International Relations at Princeton. Engineering reqs alone will prevent you from taking more than two or three POL/WWS courses during your four years here.

what if I have taken multivariable calc, differential equations, and linear algebra before entering Princeton? If I took courses over the summer? lol you don't understand I really want to do this.

you cannot double major at princeton, and if you want to major in engineering and get a certificate (basically a minor) in an AB subject you will have to write two thesis. You cannot get a certificate in politics, however you could get one in woody woo (assuming that you were accepted) or in european politics and society.

Princeton also does not accept outside courses for departmentals or for the fulfillment of requirements.
