ACT: 32 ( 32 Eng/ 28 Math/ 29 Sci/ 35 R)</p>

Basketball- 4 yrs (2 yrs on varsity)
Honor Society- 2 yrs (only for jr & sr)
California Scholarship Federation- 2 yrs
Volunteer's Club- 2 yrs
Bball coach for middle school- 3 yrs
Volunteer at elderly center- 6 yrs
Hospital volunteer- 3 yrs</p>

<p>Counselors at my school don't show us rank. How are my chances?</p>

<p>You definitely have the grades and ec's for Reed. They also want you to have a language--3 or 4 years, and at least 3 Sciences--2 that have labs. They seem to most concerned, however, that you are a good "fit" for Reed. They place the most emphasis on your grades, and your essay. (Be sure to write from the heart.) </p>

<p>They also will consider your interview and recommendations. It would definitley help in writing your essay if you had already visted (spend the night if you can). You'll know after being on campus for a while if Reed is for you or not. It's said that Reed doesn't choose you, you choose Reed. Good luck!</p>
