Chances at Transfering to UNC?

Hey I want to transfer to Chapel Hill next year, what would be my chances?

  • Economics major
  • In State
  • Cum GPA is a 3.517 (3.440 at my current university and 4.0 at my CC where I took two 4 hour summer classes)
  • 77 transferable credits
  • Got an A in Calc 1, B in Calc 2, and a C in Stat
  • Got an A in Intro Microecon and a 4 on my AP Macro exam
  • EC: Habitat for Humanity member, started dropshipping stores, and I work as a sale associate (recently promoted)

Do you know how your peers did in school? Merit is always evaluated relative to the people around you. Try to pull off a stunt on something Economics related if you can. It will help to get the right attention

You’re in the ballpark. Have you looked to see how your credits will transfer over?

Everything transfers over except for my CLEP exams. Do you really think I’m in range? Most people I see trying to apply there have near perfect resumes and president of model UN. I think being hispanic and a first gen college student are the only other things I got going for me. I’m also worried how bad that C in statistics affects my chances.
