Hi, I think you have a very good chance. If I could offer you any advice it would be to play up an EC passion in one of your essays and ask for an alum interview just to make yourself stand out.

I will concur with that. Your SATs won't help or hurt you. Your class rank will help you (assuming that your school is good). I worry a bit about the lack of ECs from earlier years. Play up the years of tennis and anything else that stretched over more years than junior and senior. So tennis, student gov't, and Spanish club were over all of high school - mention those first. For the others, certainly mention them, and perhaps make a note during an interview that you had to be invited to be a writing tutor or whatever the situation is.

Tufts loves volunteers - it is the most common EC of enrolling students. They are big on people who like to help others, are aware of others - it makes for a great student body. Play up the H for H.

Tufts evaluates across three areas (academics, extracurriculars, and personal qualities). They insist on having candidates who are strong in all three areas - so make sure that your application touches upon all three. They don't care if you do one extracurricular in depth or ten unrelated ones - so feel free to mention whatever you do.

Mention the 4s on the APs.

Interviews happen between October and February, with the end of Feb. being the deadline for reports. Send in your application early (think about 01 Dec) to ensure that you can get an interview.
