Chances at UCLA, BU, Northeastern, and Bowdoin

I’m a white male at a top public school in Georgia going into my junior year. I’m originally from Southern California, but moved away before high school. I have solid grades, decent test scores, write pretty well and interview very well, but my EC’s aren’t great. I have legacy at BU and UCLA and plan to major in poli sci or international relations. I’m an IB Diploma candidate, so all of my grades are out of 7 but my GPA is on a 4 point scale.

Recommendations
Teacher 1: Will definitely be from my HL World teacher, whom I have a very close relationship with, in that we get along very well, I pay attention and do very well in her class, help her out after school, etc. Probably going to be a strong recommendation.
Teacher 2: Likely my HL Biology teacher. Similar relationship as my HL World teacher, but more out of school interaction with volunteering and gym (sounds weird, but we go to the same gym).
Councilor: Not a super close relationship, but we know each other and get along pretty well. He understands my drive and academic potential.

Thanks for the attention and any advice is much appreciated!

FYI, legacy means nothing at UCLA. By state policy they are not allowed to consider legacy status in an application.

I would call Bowdoin and Northwestern solid reaches, UCLA a low-to-mid reach and BU a target (with an edge because legacy status may count there), all assuming you keep up and/or improve on your first two years. No safeties on your short list yet.

Good luck.
