Chances at UCs

ECs moderately strong, internship, good amount of volunteering.

Major: Biology/Biological Sciences

With the general stats for me above, I have been rejected to UCSD and UCD. I was shocked at not even being waitlisted by Davis, because I thought I was at least an above average candidate.

Since UCLA, UCB, and (probably) UCSB are out of reach now, what are my chances are UCI? If they’re not strong my last hope would be UCR.

For 2015 applicants, those with UC GPA in the 3.80 to 4.19 range had an admission rate to UCD that was around 1 in 2. So it is not a surprise that you did not get admitted.

UCI and UCSB are in the same ballpark.
