UMich: MID REACH
-Your ACT score is average, but your GPA is extremely low.

MSU: LOW REACH
-Your ACT is high, but your GPA is low.

BU: LOW REACH
-Your ACT is pretty high, but your GPA is low.

NYU: HIGH MATCH / LOW REACH
-Your ACT is average, but your GPA is a little low.

Penn State: HIGH MATCH
-Your ACT is high and your GPA is average.

U of Miami: HIGH MATCH
-Your ACT is average and your GPA is average.

Good luck! :)

^ Agree with above poster except for NYU and UM. I think you are more of a reach for both. You ACT is competitive at both schools but your GPA is definitely below average.

^I based my GPA and ACT info on collegedata.com, which shows you the percentage of students accepted to a certain college within specific GPA and test score ranges, as well as showing the average GPA and test scores of accepted students. According to collegedata.com, her GPA for UMiami is quite average and a little low for NYU, as I stated.

^ Note that collegedata.com shows stat of their members in some area. Just like here at CC, members tend to have higher stat than average applicants.

UMich would be a reach. Although you are in state and your ACT is above 25% (mid 50 29-31), your GPA is far too low (average 3.85).

^^Yup! That’s why I also check on ■■■■■■■■■■ and about.com :)

MSU which I assume is Michigan State should be a match.

Ok that helps a lot, thanks!
