Chances at UT Austin

Hi! I wanted to know if I have some chance to get in UT Austin.

I'm an international applicant (Venezuelan/Latin American)
Career: Chemical Engineering
My SAT is 1860 (I know it's pretty low, but for Latin Americans it's really high)
GPA: 3,89/4 (In my school there aren't AP classes or anything like that)
Top 5% of my class (Was first of my class in senior year)
Two silver medals in Math Olympics
Part of the orchestra of my high school (10 hours each week)
A club that is kind of a civics club, but it has Debate, MUN and classes about world culture. Here I've organized the scholar MUN, given classes and been Secretariat. (
I think that I have great essays, but of course I can't know for sure.

I'd really like to know if I have a chance. I know that in American context this doesn't look great, but in Latin America the system is pretty different and I can ensure you that I'm as prepared as an american with AP classes and better SAT. even if it doesn't look like that. I really don't know if the university takes this into consideration

You have very impressive application and I think UT Austin will see that as well.

Chance me back

If the Math Olympics were national/international and not regional, then you have a very solid chance of getting into UT Austin. I’ve seen people with worse SAT scores get into UT Austin (But they were top 7% in my school, which is in Tx -> auto admit into UT Austin).
