Chances at UW-Seattle, SPU, Portland State? - Will Chance Back!

<p>I'm a high school senior looking to stay close to home, so I only applied to the University of Washington, Seattle Pacific, and Portland State. </p>

<p>Test Scores:
SAT - 1870
Reading - 690
Math - 600
Writing - 580</p>

<p>AP: European History (3), US History (3), English Language/Composition (4), Statistics (3)
- Psychology and English Literature pending</p>

<p>G.P.A. 3.8 (unweighted)</p>

<p>Junior Year Courses: AP English, Advanced Journalistic Composition (publish school newspaper), AP U.S History, Health (school requirement), AP Statistics, Chemistry</p>

<p>Senior Year Courses: AP English, AP Psychology, Health (school requirement), Pre-Calculus, Advanced Journalistic Composition, Art (school requirement), Video Production</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
- Link Crew - Introducing freshman to high school on first day, provide guidance to them throughout the school year
- School Newspaper - News Editor last year, Editor-In-Chief this year
- Over 75 hours of volunteer work at local food bank
- Site Council Representative - School stakeholders meet once a month to discuss school issues
- Renovation Design Team Representative - School stakeholders meet once/twice a month to plan out the renovation and construction of new high school building
- Associated Student Body Senator - Freshman Year
- Play-by-Play/Color Commentator on Local Educational Access Channel - Broadcasted school district soccer, basketball, and football games</p>

- Student of the Month in Local Newspaper</p>

<p>So, what are my chances?</p>

<p>Public universities are not that hard to get into and your academics stats make you a strong candidate for all three

<p>For UWash a higher SAT score might be better, but in essence, all of them are matches or nearly so.
