<p>It's possible being an URM, but I still wouldn't say likely, the GPA is not unbelievably STELLAR and neither are the SATs, that being said, you can still probably get into a few decent schools NoelB05.</p>

<p>i think Noel is alright, she'll probably get in to 1, b/c of URM status and avg scores. and kogu has little chance. but who knows, maybe retaking the SAT might give him/her a higher score. plus, their apps may stand out in all the "good apps" and might actually get accepted.
for example, wat if the admission officer didn't have great stats and he/she hates all the 1600s. and when he/she sees lower scores, he/she may offer admission to the lower scorers.
(this is probably ill-logic, so if you read it, you have wasted ur time:) )</p>
