<p>Hi!
So this is me:
3.97 unweighted GPA
34 ACT
2250 SAT (720 reading, 730 writing, 800 math)
Subject Tests: 720 U.S. History, 730 Physics, 790 Chem
APs Taken Junior Year- 4 Statistics, 5 U.S. History, 5 English Lang and Comp, 5 Physics B, 5 Chem
Senior Year I am taking Band, AP French, AP World, AP Bio, AP English Lit, AP studio art, and independent study in calc-based physics (Physics C) and I will take the AP Calc AB test in May 2014 (I'm taking calc at my local university this summer).
I play 4 sports: cross country, nordic skiing, distance track and dance team. My dance team was state champ this year.
My extracurriculars include playing bassoon (3 years), dance classes (4 years), NHS (2 years), Math League (4 years, Captain), Leo's Club (4 years, treasurer), Scholars Bowl (2 years), Peace Club (3 years, VP, President), Young Judaea Vermont (3 year, VP,VP, President), Flag Team (2 years, founding member).
I went to Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth for 2 summers (before my sophmore and junior years) and took Biology and Neuroscience.
For the past 2 years I have gone to MIT Splash.
Last summer (before junior year) I volunteered at an arts summer camp as a teaching assistant for 4 weeks.
This summer I have an internship in a biochemistry research lab. I am also taking calc this summer.
I was nominated to attend various National Youth Leadership Forums (I did not attend any, but was told that being nominated at all is an honor).
I have won various awards, including the academic excellence award, NEML certificate award, dance team award, symphonic director award, drawing student of the year, painting student of the year, 2nd place in a poetry contest, finalist in the green up day poster design contest, a civics leadership award, and the RIT Innovation and Creativity Award.</p>
<p>So, any ideas on what my chances at Yale are?</p>
