Chances/Easiest College?!

"Should i apply to Agriculture even though i'm definetly not interested in that & i would have to lie in my essay!?"

Don't even try. Ag is extremely tough to get in if you are from the suburbs because they will really question your true interest.

However, if you have an interest in communications/marketing and would genuinely be interested in focusing on agricultural related publications or industries, you might be able to make a convincing case for admission. Agriculture is big business in Illinois and a little research into the different companies might yield something of real interest to you. Also make note that commodities (mainly ag products) are big business in Chicago (Board of Trade) and many ag trade publications are based in Chicago.

no it's not hard, i'm from the suburbs and i got in. His credentials are similar to mine. I think I had a little better stats, but he had more EC's than I did. He shouldn't write about agriculture, that's jus plain stupid. He should right about his major more than the college itself, I did so, and that did me jus fine. Be smart about it, don't overthink it.

i wrote about my interest in my COLLEGE for my transfer essays last january. BIG MISTAKE. Write about your interest in your major. They told me i was rejected because i did not seem to have enough interest in advertising.
