Chances, Financial aid.

I am a white male from Ohio.
Public High School, probably not considered very competitive.
GPA: UW=3.6 W=3.9
Rank: 27/402
ACT: 32 (35 English, 31 Math, 33 Reading, 28 Science) taken only once
retaking in December
SAT: 2230 (740 Verbal, 730 Math, 760 Writing) taken only once
National Merit Semifinalist (Finalist status pending)
Decent extracurricular activities.

Anyways, I was talking to my parents about EFC, and they said that two years ago when my sister enrolled in Miami University, our family's EFC was about $17,000. I expect that this number will decrease per student when I apply. Does Lehigh have any guarantees on meeting financial need, and if so, is the bulk of it through loans or grants?

Feel free to evaluate either my chances or my financial aid question, or both if you're in a good mood.

No guarantees when it comes to Fin Aid. Lehigh uses a combination of grants and loans to those that qualify. Merit based grants are also available.
Your stats look decent. :) guess I must be in a good mood :)
