Chances for a Nebraskan Wanting to go to CU

<p>I was wondering what my chances as an OOS student (from Omaha) would be for CU. Also - as the in-state and out-of-state tuition is so drastically different for CU, if I would be eligible for any merit aid?</p>

<p>GPA: 3.5-3.6 unweighted, 3.6-3.65 weighted
Course load: 4 Honors Classes, 5 AP classes, 3 AP self-study tests
Rigorous college prep school</p>

<p>ACT: Currently 26 composite (weak math, high English/Reading), but I'm retaking it and shooting for 28 at least. </p>

<p>Average-Good extracurriculars.
Good recommendations.</p>

<p>I think you stand a decent chance of getting in. If your ACT scores are below 26 on math, retaking the test is a good idea. They base a lot of their admissions (from what I can tell) on a combination of gpa, test scores, class rank, and the curriculum you took.</p>
