Chances for a transfer for Canadian Schools (UT, McGill, Waterloo)

<p>I'm a second semester sophomore at Stony Brook University but I'm applying to the following three Canadian schools for Fall 09:</p>

<p>McGill University
University of Toronto
University of Waterloo</p>

<p>Unfortunately because of personal circumstance, I didn't think I'd have to be transferring, but I do. My gpa is not that great. It's currently a 3.1 cumulative (first three semesters: 2.74, 3.63, 2.85). I am gonna trying hard to get a as close to 4.0 as possible this semester, but it seems like I'm in bad luck, since the uni's aren't gonna look at this semester's grades. They also look at high school transcripts, but my high school grades are over 90s if I remember correctly.</p>

<p>Do I have a chance for at least one of those schools?</p>

<p>Probably depends on what program(s) you're applying to, and whether there is space for upper year admits.</p>
