Any advice would be welcome. I feel my ec's are a little weak/ I haven't shown any "passion" b/c there is without a doubt nothing to do on campus/in the community unless you are a crazed LSU fan. I'm also a "bleeding heart liberal", as they're called here, drowning in a sea of conservatives. Two Questions:

1.) I'm crazy about film. Would the film studies class at my school be a good way to show that?
2.) I'm also crazy about Chinese. I have no way to show that from where I am.

Thanks for your comments.

Upon reading your stats, it's my personal opinion YOU WILL get into Georgetown University.

It is selective, but you seem to go beyond thier average SAT score ranges.

hi i would tell you that you have done a fine job! WOw you are impressive! Not only could you apply to Georgetown but all the ivies for that matter, for your passions. Start a Chinese Club within the school or take chinese as a language or somehow think of a way to faciliate a connection with the chinese imigrants in your town, they are nearly everywhere. For film, start a film club OR subscribe to a film internet club or join a film class on the weekends at your local colleges. Don't underestimate what might be right your nose for the taking.......defintely devote some summer time to pursuing these passions. You sound like you are continuing to take challenging courses which is key and your SATS are amazing. Keep up the good work and lots of luck to you.

I agree you have a very good chance,

One thing though
Unfortunately GTown doesn't count the Writing portion of the SAT, however your other scores are incredible too. Just something to remember.

You have a great shot.

especially since youre from Louisiana.

Thanks for your comments....
I was beginning to think I was getting some
sort of newcomer's cold shoulder....

I appreciate it!

No I think everyone is just stressed out from waiting, thats all.

I hope I get in EA and don't have to be in their shoes ;).

Good luck to you, I hope we can join each other as members of the Georgetown Class of 2011
