I am currently a junior in high school but am already looking into potential colleges. Saint Michael's College is my top choice as of right now. I have a 3.63 GPA and got between a 1600 and 1700 on a practice SAT test I took about two months ago. Based on my practice SAT test score that will be close to my actual score when I take it in the spring. I took more honors classes my freshamn and sophomore years than I do now. However, I am going to attempt to take at least one AP course next year and move up to honors English. I am involved in the drama club at my school. I am on the stage crew for the fall play and am in the cast for the spring musical. I am also a member of my school's Pro-Life Club. I am considering applying for student council next year. During the summer, I work as a junior camp counselor at Camp Kyle T. Woodruff, which is a day camp for children from ages 5-14 living with diabetes. This same camp hosts holiday parties and various other programs throughout the rest of the year which I volunteer at as often as possible. Does it look like I have a chance for admission next year?

also I volunteer at events such as open house and freshmen orientation at my school

I’d say your chances are great. I just got in with less impressive stats than yours, so I think you’re good :)

I would have to agree that your chances are good. I’m sure you’ve checked the website and read the page on the admissions process at Saint Mike’s [Saint Michael’s College - How Decisions Are Made](http://www.smcvt.edu/admission/decisions.asp). This page confirms that your stats fall within what they look for. Other than simply challenging yourself and getting good grades, I would recommend visiting and contacting the admissions office. It is important that you let them know that you are interested. Good luck.
