Yea so thats about it and these are the colleges I want to apply. Please chance me!

Northwestern
UPENN
Harvard (EA or w/o EA)
Cornell
U of IL Urbana Champaign
Loyola
Duke
USC
UMICH- Ann Arbor
UNC- Chapel Hill

PLEASE HELP!!! IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

I don't think colleges will care about your ESPN-watching, but I presume you were kidding. :)

You appear to be very involved, which will help you out on your apps. However, there isn't a large emphasis on any particular activity or hobby. If you can think of one, you will have an app essay topic! Heh.

Are you hoping for athletic scholarships to one of the schools you listed?

As far as getting into Harvard, my guess is as good as anyone else's.

I think you're as good as accepted at Northwestern.

I'm not quite as familiar with any of the rest of the schools, so you'll have to wait on someone else's feedback. :) Hope this helps!

No im not looking for an atheltic scholarship im not that good

bump HELP bump

You will get into a number of those schools. Harvard and Penn are a stretch for anybody, of course. Cornell and Duke- possible. The rest, even more possible. Why aren't you applying to University of Chicago? Also, if you applied to Cornell early decision, you would have a great chance.

just so you know, those whos who high school award things mean very little. they are just trying to get your money

need some more feedback...soooo BUMP

bump give me something

Northwestern- match
UPENN- match
Harvard (EA or w/o EA)- reach
Cornell- slight reach
U of IL Urbana Champaign- safety
Loyola- safe match
Duke- match
USC- safe match
UMICH- Ann Arbor- match
UNC- Chapel Hill- match

bump bump bump

Just curious, but how do you get a weighted GPA of 4.2 on a 4.0 scale?

^^^ hehe weighted scales are diffrent for instance an honors course A translates to a 4.5.

regular scale for all schools are 4.0 most schools weight classes differently such as my school (5-point scale but I converted to 4 because its easier for reviewers) weights regular 5, honors 5.5, and AP 6. However I think the scale is the same. Idk if there is a different scale for weighted GPA's.

Whoa... sorry to go off-topic from the original point, but that is really different from my school. My school has a 6.0 scale where Honors and AP classes are a 6.0, advanced classes are a 5.0 and normal classes are a 4.0, so nobody gets very close to a 6 as everybody is required to take lower level credits (ie PE, health).

anyone else got two cents to spare on me
