Did you take A levels? If so what are your grades/projected?

I’m sorry but what are A levels?

@RohanShetty you look like a stellar applicant. Given that, MIT is still highly competitive. It will depend on your competition and how you portray yourself in your essays. As for the other parts of you application, you see absolutely flawless. Good Luck!

@ShaneBlakeEy‌ Thanks a lot, you made my day

CBSE does not have percentages for 9th and 10th (sigh…) if you are glory hunting please do not destroy the experience for others.

@Bored1997‌ I just converted my CGPA to percentage!

Wow. There sure are a lot of speed cubers in the International Student “Chance me for MIT” crowd.

@JustOneDad‌ Yeah I guess, what do you think my chances are?

Since you mentioned CBSE, I thought you were studying in a British style school. A levels are the advanced courses for the last 2 years of high school.

If you didn’t take A levels, then it might be perceived that you took the weaker course load. Does CBSE courseload have any advanced courses (apart from AP)?

Maybe 1 in 3.

@sgopal2‌ If I’m not wrong, the CBSE curriculum is already quite hard compared to the US curriculum.
