^that’s because the assistant coaches triage and send the message to the head coach if they feel the students are a possible recruit. At this point we don’t know whether OP is recruitable for any of the sports he practices.
What did you decide to do? It never hurts to put yourself out there. The worst that could happen is a no. If you don’t try though you’ll never know if it could have been a yes. As an aside, I am curious as to what country you are from? Bucknell is need blind so that would not be a factor getting admitted. Good luck.
@Bisonorbust I decided to apply to Trinity ED1. If I applied to Bucknell ED1 and I got rejected, my chances of getting in at Trinity in ED2 will be lowered since they will be already admitted some students with good financial aid packages. I am needing a HUGE amount of financial aid. I did some research and I found that Trinity is a great place; its engineering department is ABET accredited and there are numerous opportunities for international students at the summer such as internships, work, research and so on. Also, it is one of the little ivies, so they are roughly the same and it all depends on how hard I will work.
I am an international from Egypt. Btw, Bucknell is not need-blind for international students. They offer packages for a limited number of students (but good packages)
Thanks for your response. I hope you get into the college you most want to. Egypt has a fascinating and impressive history. Thanks for sharing! I am very interested in world travel and hope to visit your country some day. I hope you enjoy the US.
@Bisonorbust Thank you. I appreciate that. Hope u gonna enjoy your stay in Egypt.
