dude you're in.

yah you are in.

should I try for UCLA or UCB? I think i'd get slaughtered there lol

Ok well, im in state and my stats were 4.1 WGPA, total of SAT I were 1820, and around 500-600 for all the SAT II's I took, and my course load is the same as yours I guess (I passed 5 out of 9 APs I took), and I had tons of extracurriculars. I got in UCLA an UCSD, but rejected from UCB. So yes, I think you should apply to those just for the hell of it. Beware though, UC admissions were a bit funky this year, hope that in your year they straighten out.

omg....tien, how the heck did you get into UCLA with those stats??

TheIndividual: Match

Try LA and Cal. You have a pretty good shot at LA. Cal might be a slight reach.

Same way you did :)

Well thing is, I spent my summers at college programs, one at Pitzer and another at Pomona College and did research and stuff, so I guess that tipped the scale.

EDIT: Oh and I've seen MUCH WORSE stats get into LA and SD, so maybe our friend affirmative action is in the works! :D

there's no affirmative action at UC's...remember they banned it in 1997? that's why they are so overcrowded with asians

I forgot my sarcasm tag.
