Chances for BU?

I’m applying to many other schools, but BU is my dream school/the most selective school I’m applying to and I’d love to hear any opinions on whether my stats would give me a competitive shot at admission.

I’m a 17 year old female from New York and I go to a small, all-girls Catholic high school. I’m applying RD to COM for journalism.

GPA: 3.9 UW, not too sure about W but I believe about a 4.3
SAT: right now 1370, taking again
Rank: top 15% (only 66 students in my grade)
Class Rigor: my school does not offer many AP classes, but I took all the ones offered except AP studio art (so APUSH, AP English Lit, and AP Government). The rest of my classes were mostly honors and in senior year I am taking several college classes through dual enrollment with a university offered at my school.
APUSH: 4
AP Lit: 3

ECs:
-theatre (4 years)
-track team (3 years)
-newspaper (3 years)
-school religious organization (3 years)
-UNICEF (4 years)
-dance team (2 years)
-television studio/news broadcast (2 years)
-school leadership/ambassador team (2 years)

Leadership:
-Senior editor of newspaper
-VP of National Honor Society
-Director of school musical this year
-President of religious club junior year
-Student ambassador
-Homeroom representative on student council (only 1 year so not as important)

Honors/Awards:
-Nominations for local awards for several newspaper articles
-Principals List all 4 years
-National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Rho Kappa, and more
-Most Improved Runner for track team
-Scholar Athlete Award
-Special recognition award for a role I played in my school musical
-SJU Woman in Science award for high achievement in chemistry and geometry sophomore year

My essay is basically about how I found myself through journalism and how writing authentic stories and uncovering people’s backgrounds and opinions helped me to grow from shy to an outspoken person if that makes sense. I wanted to try and showcase that I truly have a passion for my major. I will also relate this as I write the supplemental essay as I am super fascinated with the school’s journalism program.

Extras:
-after school job junior and senior year
-64 hours of community service at summer camp and 20 for peer tutoring (I know it’s not a lot but I also did various small projects through the religious club and UNICEF)
-first gen college student

Please give me any opinions or advice on my application, and if needed I can go more into detail about anything!
